so ,I received an order and the wrong item was sent,,, I contacted the seller and we chatted several times and all was good...they asked for a photo which I had on my cell and had to send to my laptop because I cant email from my cell....so, I found a photo I thought was theirs on Ebay and sent it to them saying this is what I got,,,they said the photo wasnt theirs,,,,and it wasnt come to find out, BUT, the item was the same,,,I then actually sent the photo of what I did get and now they stopped talking to me,,,they say I am wrong and bought it from someone else,,, I did NOT...Ebay is NO help saying Igot a package,,, I cant even make them understand that yes ,I got a package but, it is the WONG item,,,,why cant I get any help with this,,,ridiculous,,,except the item I did get was 1/2 of the price of the item I actually bought!

@misski_438 There is a money back guarantee on this platform, however you only get once shot at it. You don't specify which case you opened, it had to be an item not as described case in order to get a full refund. Sounds like you opened item not received instead. If that's the case, all you can do is open a case for item not as described using PayPal, or go directly to your credit card used. No need for you to message the seller any further. Go to your eBay Purchase History and open a return case.
Find the item in your Purchase History and press the big, blue 'Return this item' button. Select "Item is Not as Described" as the reason for the return.

If it requires you to upload a photo to the return case you will need to do that.

Seller will be required to provide a prepaid shipping label IF they want the item back before refunding.

When the return tracking shows delivered back to the seller, the seller will have 2 days to inspect and refund your purchase. If that does not happen there will be an "Ask eBay to Step In", option for you to click on. EBay will refund your money.

If seller does not send a return label within 3 days and the "Ask eBay To Step In" option is not available, you may have to contact eBay. If you need help, come back here with details and dates of what has transpired.

Under NO circumstances do you close the return before getting your refund, REGARDLESS of what the seller might tell you.

Come back here with any or all questions you might have throughout this process.

You should not have trouble sending to an email address from your phone. Just put the email address your sending to in place of the phone number if you were texting.

so ,after you loose ,and the case closes without a refund ,eBay allows you to open a return request for the WRONG ITEM SENT.

go ,back and click Return this item ,to start a return request for WRONG ITEM SENT from the list. Upload the photo of the WRONG ITEM SENT ,type at least 2 lines of comments ,then click the Submit request button.

thanks for your help. I cant get it to work on my phone for whatever reason.... I get emails,,,but I cant reply,,,so I posted the photo on FB,,copied it , deleted it from FB and sent it to the seller,,,a long way around but, they got the photo they wanted,,,,and then No response from them...I guess it is hard for some people to admit they made a mistake,,,

well, I went all areas and procedures and Ebay sides with the seller,,,SO,,, I not only did NOT get whet I paid for,,,but, the wrong item I GOT is CHEAPER than what I Ordered....How sad the Ebay Gods,,,,side with a scammer seller! Thank you for al of your help and guidence,,, I guess I am one of the losers in the Ebay scam games!

It is tough for a buyer to lose a return case on EBay but it does happen. The MBG is great for the buyer if used properly.

Your next recourse is your payment source, hopefully PayPal or your Credit Card company.

thank you...That is what I have done,,,all I want is what I paid for,,,,and Ebay will NOT even look at my purchase history to prove I did NOT buy what was sent to me,,,shame on the seller and Ebay,,,mistakes happen,,,no problem...just be honest enough to admit a problem and correct it...
