unable to unhidden hidden purchases & no return option available

I need to return an item. However, I am unable to unhidden the item which was previously hidden.

Also, there is no return option available, I presume because the item is hidden.

The seller has not refunded my money or been able to help me start a return.

If a purchase is hidden, you should be able to see it using a desktop browser by going to your Purchase History and using the "Show hidden" button at the top. You can then select the transaction and use the "Unhide order" link under "More actions".

If the item was purchased using this account, the item should also appear among your recent purchases here:

https://www.ebay.com/help/home

If the item does not appear in either place, either the purchase was made using a different eBay account or else the listing may have been removed by eBay for a policy violation.

The fact @partsgalore1 that you can contact the seller means that you can

- click on the item picture where you're contacting/sending a message to the seller, or 

- click on the item picture in any outside email confirming 1. your purchase or 2. its shipping update

and go to the item listing.

From there

- click on See order details

- then click on More actions

- to select Return this item.
