how in the world do you contact anyone at ebay?  I have a return that they say needs to go back but I cannot get to the shipping label they say is created.  When I try to get help I just keep going in circles on the site, no one to email and no phone numbers, help

Whenever you cannot get to the return shipping label @fyit_27 

Just leave a private message here with your name and so on for eBay on Facebook (or create a one-time Facebook account) and ask eBay if they also cannot get to the label themselves.
