recieved wrong item

i ordered an item from seller that was supposed to fit my mower. had to get ebay involved to get the seller to ship it, which he didnt do until 2 days after the supposed delivery date. the part he sent doesnt fit my mower as he stated so i started a return,the part cost 20 dollars with tax and the seller wants me to pay 16.00 shipping to return it.i called ebay and they were supposed to look in to it, that was 5 or 6 days ago and havent heard back from anyone. ebays money back gaurentee isnt worth **bleep** and they just lost me as a member that has bought hundreds of items since 2009   what do you guys think i should do

Does the listing have a return policy? If it's the listing for which you left feedback, the seller's return policy is 30 days with buyer paying return shipping. 

If the part you received is the same part that was listed and described but just is wrong for your lawn mower, the seller does have the right to charge return shipping.
