So i bought this nice fishing reel which was a quantum smoke s3 pt paid over 200.00 for it myself , well i didn't need it found something better so i sold it on here for 168.00 well when i had it there was not one thing wrong with it , i took it out looked it over made sure it was in working order, greased and i and sent it out and ill be darn as soon as the customer gets it he says its ticking but it wasn't when i had it or when i sent it off to customer. i clearly state i do not take or accept returns and i do not sale junk. i have even offered to get him a new one and called zebco myself and they said they would swap it but if i state i do not accept returns do i do it?

ALL eBay buyers, as well as ALL eBay sellers, need to carefully read eBay's money back guarantee for buyers, preferably before they begin to buy or sell on eBay.
Your "do not take or accept returns" stance does not mean anything in the face of the MBG.
The buyer can open an item not as described case and you will be required to provide a prepaid return label and then to refund his entire payment when you receive the item back.
So, if Zebco is willing to swap it out, why not let him return it, you refund it and then send it back to Zebco?
If you are willing to get him a new one, why are you reluctant to accept the return and refund? Or is it just because you aren't sure how to handle this situation?

If the buyer opens a return request for "not as described" you will have the choice of accepting the return, paying return shipping, and refunding in full within 2 days of return, or you can refuse, and eBay will refund the buyer with your money, and may, or may not require the item to be returned to you.

Be proactive... approve the Return, if one is opened. You'll not have to refund until the reel is returned to you . Yes, you'll be out return shipping, but you'll have back the reel (that you know was working) to relist and sell to a good buyer. For what it's worth, I find that if an item sells once, it will again. Good luck.
