frustration with return process

I'm needing to return an item that was not as described.  I first contacted the seller and explained to him why I need to return the item.  In his response, he told me that I could return it through ebay site.  So then I used ebay return site & described once again why I need to return the item...then ebay sent me this message, so it looks like I am being sent around in circles.  What should I do next?  So far no one is helping me! 
Will ebay actually help me if the seller still doesn't help me?  I rarely if ever buy anything from ebay & have never tried to return anything before now.  But right now I'm very frustrated!

you need to check back in a few days and make sure the seller has sent you a return label

 

actually  November 10 is too long if you ask me

 

if they did not get you a label you can upgrade it to a claim after a few days

 

it looks like the seller told you the correct thing
