Hi. I bought a laptop some 6 weeks ago from a seller in Australia, and it is faulty. The first communications with the seller were positive, as he advised several ways to rectify the faults. However, the computer repairs did not work, and the fault codes indicate a severe unrepairable problem, and I have requested a return with a full refund. The seller has now chosen to not respond after saying he would assist with either a repair or a refund. The problem is also that Ebay's system seems not to be able to assist as it is not able to follow its own instructions for reporting this for an Ebay refund. Where do I go now? How do i get Ebay to actually respond to my problem ? Any assistance will be appreciated.

If less than 30 days from delivery has passed, click return this item and select not as described. If that time has passed, you have to file a case with your credit card company if you paid by card. Or, the payment service you used.

After 30 days it is just you and your payment source looking out for you. eBay no longer has a say in the matter.
