I recently purchased an RJ Tech RJ 1000K II from eBay. A few days ago, I received the order, but when I opened the package, I immediately noticed that one of the four pedestals was missing. Then, when I tried to test the machine, it wouldn’t play at all. I was very disappointed and attempted to return it, but despite my efforts, I couldn’t complete the return process. I was instructed to contact the seller, which I did, but so far neither the seller nor eBay has responded. I’m feeling very frustrated and don’t know what else to do.

The description says "One foot missing" and it's also shown in one of the pictures.

 

What reason did you select for the return?

That listing  photos show it is missing a foot and also the description says it is missing a foot.

 

What reason did you select for return?

Hi @jing1257 

 

The fact that a pedestal is missing wouldn't qualify for a return, since it is mentioned AND pictured in the listing.  [It's possible to add your own foot and still use the player ... IF it otherwise 'worked'.]

 

Since you say the item 'doesn't play at all' ... you definitely are entitled to return it.  Here is what you need to do to initiate a return.  Follow the directions exactly:

 

  • File a 'return request' from your Purchase History ... choosing 'Doesn't match description or photos' as the reason for the request.  Include photos of the item if asked to do so.
  • If the seller fails to provide either a prepaid shipping label OR a full refund within 3 business days ... then go back to your open request on Day 4 and ask eBay to step in.  eBay will do the rest.

 

If you are unable to complete the return request ... then please post back here and tell us exactly what happened when you tried to open one.
