Hello everyone. I'm extremely confused at the moment and wanted to see if someone could please help me with this. I sold an NBA jersey to a gentleman on June 12, 2021. Come to find out, that their are multiple types of NBA jerseys that Nike makes. Two of them are Swing Man and Authentic. I did not know this and sold a jersey as an authentic jersey when in fact it was a swingman. My fault and I told the customer and ebay that it was my mistake. Here is where the confusion comes in. Earlier that morning eBay had sent a $92 payout to my bank account so that left my available funds at $0. That being said when this customer filed the dispute they took the $104 from the dispute and it left my available funds -$104. What I'm not understanding is then why do I also have a $104 hold on my account? Is that being charged twice if it left my available -$104 and they are also holding $104. Maybe I'm just not understanding it correctly so please if anyone can help me I would be extremely grateful. I tried calling eBay and I feel like he didn't know either bc I didn't get a clear answer as to why. I've sold multiple items the last couple of days that has brought my available back above the negative but still have the hold? Thanks in advance

Yes, after the buyer has received their refund, eBay will release the funds. Although you might not see them for a day or so.

eBay will hold the 104 until the buyer is refunded from your other funds. So, you'll need to put whatever the difference is in your attached banking account. Once the refund is completed, they will release the 104 that they are holding. That's the new eBay way.

So the funds will get released to me though, correct?
