Buyer wants to return an order because it was not as described, but it was, pain as day and eBay tells me accept the return or they will. What a bunch of crud. I am slowly being put under by the almighty.

Ebay will not accept the return. Ebay will refund from your funds without a return. They will also not allow you to keep the final value fees you paid.
Defending against Not As Described claims is near impossible no matter how you sell in the USA.
If it was not Ebay, it would be the buyer's credit card issuer forcing your hand.
Consumer protection laws give the buyer the advantage

Pretty sure the Almighty is not involved in this dispute. He has bigger things to attend to at this time.

That is a bit of a misnomer. I have successfully fought and won several credit card chargebacks over the years, just not on eBay because they don't fight them on your behalf.

The scary part about returns is sometimes you don't get what you sold.
I had a few strange items returned not what I sold losing the sale plus the item.
I won a credit card chargeback on eBay in December...so it can be done. And I lost a few at the beginning as a newbie on eBay.

Chargebacks can be won, it is just not likely you will win a not as described chargeback, especially if you sold without returns.
Ebay does what all other online marketplaces do, it sends your response to the notification of the dispute to the cardholder's bank. If you write a poor response, that becomes your representation in the dispute. Many sellers can barely write a post on this forum which describes the situation. They responses to the dispute are likely to be inadequate to win.
This is why for a non-delivery dispute, sellers need to include the tracking information in their response, even though Ebay has it. And why if the nature of the dispute is unclear, sellers need to respond to all possible reasons for the dispute.

I am slowly being put under by the almighty.
If "almighty" is used to describe eBay's complete power over Returns, then you're not being "put under"... you're following policy. Only offering that in the hopes that it puts a new spin on your outlook. Good luck moving forward.
