Hello
I opened a return request, got free shipping lable. However, I used different carrier and I will be responsible for the cost.
Ebay asked to take action and ship it back before the deadline, which I already did.
Ebay guide says;
Here’s how to add the tracking information to your return if you’re using your own return shipping label:
THIS WAY DO NOT EXCIST at my end
Any help appreciated
Thank yoy

- Go to the return request in Purchase History
- Select the shipping carrier from the dropdown list. If you select Other, enter the carrier name.
- Enter the tracking number.
- Select Mark as sent.
Nope, Mark has died. eBay removed the option for buyers to add their own return tracking number over 5 years ago, because eBay thinks all buyers are scammers.
Rather than giving the free return label to their freight forwarder to return that label to the seller, they upload their own fake tracking numbers which somehow get delivered even though the number is fake, and the sellers don't get it but that's normal, here on eBay sellers don't get it anyway.
Instead @osssq leave a private message here to give eBay your return tracking number, to get your refund.
