I buy on ebay very little these days due to scammy sellers, and an ebay that not only puts up with it, but seems to encourage it.
I went on and on with this seller on an item that fell apart a week after purchase, he finally told me to open a return, and when I asked what he would do then, he claimed...refund you.
I asked him what was the point of opening the return, and he stopped the immediate responses. I had a seller claim the same thing once, then he didnt refund, and I was unable to leave feedback after opening the return. Is that what the seller is up to, or is there a legit reason to open the return, then not return?
I did eventually figure out how to leave fb in cases like this.
Hope all is well with all of you...Plant

I've looked at your feed back and that has lead me to believe you're not allowed to open returns .
You're one for the list that's for sure
