I started a return and printed the Ebay return label provided by the seller through Ebay. I had USPS scan it in front of me and provide me with a hard copy receipt. USPS online shoes steady movement on it's way back to the Seller. Ebay shows that I have not mailed it and I need to mail it to receive my refund by the date shown. I used the Ebay label provided and the USPS has no problem but Ebay seems to be. What should I do. The chat system is useless. The seller could get back the item and say I never sent it and Ebay will see it on their site and agree. I told my postmaster this and he said I have my hard copy receipt to prove it got shipped and delivered. But how can I relate this to Ebay who makes life impossible. Been on Ebay for 20 years this is just poor service.

So your the buyer and you mailed back a return item to seller correct? Tracking is accurate on the USPS site but not on ebay as you stated.
The usps site is the most up to date as ebay can fall behind sometimes, I wouldn't worry about this, just keep communication open with your seller.

I am sorry that you are going thru this. Contact eBay for business on Facebook. Good luck to you.

Just to confirm--this hasn't happened, right?
As a practicing Buddhist, I suggest one of the fundamental tenets of the philosophy:
"Never suffer future pain."
Maybe the American idiom would be some like "cross that bridge when you come to it."
By the time this all shakes out, the eBay tracking data will have synced with the USPS data, and the return case will update correctly.
I had a SNAD purchase awhile back, and the seller didn't want the item returned--she just wanted to issue a refund. The return case was stuck on "print the label and return the item" for days. I bet I called customer service three times. It finally just all synced and update correctly.
