Can buyer leave negative feedback after a closed return case. Buyer said he bought the item by mistake. In the return case I decline the return and close the return case. My question is can a buyer leave negative feedback after a closed return case?

If they lose the return they are supposed to be blocked from leaving a negative. If they do ask eBay to remove it.

 

Your problem is now they can file a chargeback with their credit card  which eBay has no control, and end up with a free item.  It's  best to tell them to return it for a refund. They pay the return label. Then you deduct the original shipping cost from the refund. You lose .30 cents but it's  better than having you lose the item and the payment. Buyers have learned how to go to the payment source for a refund.

They can still leave a neg. If that happens come back and ask for help. Depending how it's worded you may be able to get it removed, or we can assist with a professional reply.

Can?  They shouldn't be able to but sometimes things don't work out like they are supposed to.

 

A buyer can leave you a negative because it was cold out the day after they bought an item from you or they didn't like the kind of tape you used to seal a box.

 

Anytime a case is closed in the sellers favor the buyer is "supposed" to be blocked from leaving anything but a positive.

Can you show me the policy on this?

 

If eBay steps in and case is found in seller favor then I know that is true, or if seller appeals decision and found in seller favor.

 

However where does it say if seller denies return then feedback is removed?
