I purchased an item from a seller that was described to be as a red Fraggle hand puppet. When that item was received it was a plush doll not a hand puppet. I have emailed the seller three times since receiving the item they have not responded back to me I want to return that item and get a refund.

Depending on how old the transaction is you can open up a not as described case since there not responding to the return request. it would be in the options. There is a time frame so if its out of that time frame you wont be able to.

You don't need to message the seller. Find the item in your Purchase History and push the big, blue 'Return this Item' button. Cite the reason for your claim ('Doesn't match description or photos', for example) and submit the claim. If the seller won't send you a return shipping label, you can ask eBay to step in... keep an eye on the Case timeline. You'll be made whole.

Go to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

And, after you've taken the steps suggested by the other responders, please take the time to read eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers. It's seen in every eBay listing and offers clear instructions on what to do if/when a transaction goes wrong.
There is no need to email the seller three times. Open an item not as described case.
Do yourself a favor and don't make any more purchases on eBay til you have a grip on how to protect yourself as an eBay buyer.
