I had to return an item using a courier label I bought myself after Enay sent me a label which was clearly not sufficient postage for the size of the item. I got in touch with customer services who assured me it was ok to buy my own return postage as long as I sent in the evidence. I emailed evidence to Ebay and uploaded it to messages with the seller but they just keep repeating that I better make sure I update the return with the new tracking number. Due to the wrong label still being assigned to the return there is no means for me to add my own tracking number. I tried cancelling the return to start a new return so I could upload the number but now I cannot make a new return. The item has already been delivered to the seller and I have the evidence. The seller is clearly not going to refund me manually as they have a bad attitude despite. This has turned in to a total mess which would not have happened if eBay had sent me a valid label im the first place. PayPal refuse to help due to it being a return. The seller now has my money and the item. How can I get eBay to refund me?
