I bought a cell phone advertised as working on T-Mobile network. It was locked to MetroPCS so did not work on T-Mobile. Escalated the case to Ebay when Seller was unresponsive to multiple attempts to reach him. Ebay opened a "return item" case and it was closed today (Feb 13th) with no resolution. There is no response from Seller and I am unable to escalate to Ebay (case is closed!). Is there any other option to escalate to Ebay or do I have to eat the loss? I have been buying/selling occasionally on Ebay for around 25 years and this is my first bad experience with a Seller and Ebay!

When the case was opened, you could have returned to it on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in for a refund.
If you do nothing, the case will time out and close.
If you paid through Pay Pal, open a case with them or contact your credit card.
