Return of Item

Cannot connect w eBay or seller as eBay keeps telling me to register when I tried to initiate a return.  I sent item back to seller myself as the listed item was presented by box and bottle that I thought would be authentic and in my opinion was not.

If you returned these items back to the seller without opening an official eBay return case, you will probably never be refunded, as there is no registered history of the return in the eBay system.

Unfortunately, eBay cannot assist you in getting you a refund.

However, you may be able to appeal this sale through your credit card company, so check with them.

In the future, if you need to return an item, make sure that you are following eBay instructions, as follows --

Hi- thank you for the response. Issue is I tried to do a return via contact seller and contact eBay but both took me to where I had to register. I have previously registered but system would not let me move forward. 

seller should not display box and bottle that represents the product, which I believe upon arrival is not real. 

Was mentioned no returns so will see what seller does or doesn’t do.  I just ask that people be honest when selling item and not what I would call deceitful.

Sounds like you bought as a guest. If so, log out of this account and go to the email you used. There should be a message there about the purchase. For more information, click on the Help/Contact button and type Guest in the search box. That will give you the information about returns and how to procced. 

Buying as a guest is not linked to your account so any purchases will not show on your account.

How did you know the seller’s address for returned items?  Only the seller or eBay can give you that.

@sny1273 that is NOT necessarily where the seller takes their returns and it may well wind up in their inventory or trash can.

Chances of getting a refund by just sending something back without going through the process, are nil. 

You needed to open a not as described return request thru eBay.
