I purchased an iPhone from a seller and it was defective. The seller first refused to cancel the item after I changed my mind, and then refused to accept my return. I escalated it to eBay and it's in a five day hold which expires tomorrow. I'm messaged a return label from the seller but still no refund.
Since it's escalated to eBay support, is the refund on them or still on the seller at this point?
Thanks!

@bethanyauction The refund will come from the seller because that's who you paid. However it sounds like you are expecting the refund now, but you haven't returned the phone yet. That's not how it works. First you need to use the return label to ship the phone back to the seller. Once seller receives it they have three days to issue you a full refund. Just follow the steps and you'll be covered just fine. Remember there is a MBG on this platform. Best of luck to you....

Read it incorrectly. Since the seller provided a return label, you need to return it before you get your refund.

Thanks! I’ve never done a return on eBay so I wasn’t sure how all this worked.
