Return issues

I have a buyer who wished to return. He mailed the item before the return was finalized so didn’t use return postage...

So here’s where I’m at. The buyer sent my item (the return) to a random business at the town I live in. I’ve contacted the post office to verify.

But eBay keeps saying it was delivered to

me. It’s a mess. I’ve messaged the buyer many times and can’t get a response. I even offered to send return postage. I have no problem with that but the address he sent it to wasn’t mine or anywhere on my account. I just want it back.

At this point, eBay has said it was delivered so refunded this buyer over $200 that was drafted out of my account today. Yet yesterday I had an email from eBay that said my case would be extended four days to allow new delivery.

I have appealed twice but no one seems to listen to the fact it wasn’t returned to the right address. I have no clue what’s happening.

Please advise.

Trying to understand this...

Did the buyer put the wrong return address on the package or did USPS deliver to wrong address?

Get in writing from the shipper it was sent to a different addy than yours. File fraud with the USPS and the online fbi system.

This is mail fraud plain and simple. eBay is not law enforcement , use law enforcment against the perp that is scamming you.

Note once you have a report of the ship to address was not yours and a copy of a report filed with law enforcement, appeal the case with eBay. They may or may not find for you in your case but worth a try.

Have you contacted this business to see if they will give this package (that was obviously not meant for them) back to you? Or perhaps this IS a scam and the biz is working with the buyer to rip you off.

Business  addys can be easily found in a zip code area:

This is now a common seller scam and a buyer return scam.

Send a widget or even a empty package.  to some other location in the area with same zip to show it delivered and of course it is not.

And of course this is a mail fraud situation if seller, or return from buyer.

I have same question if the buyer putting the wrong address, then this is the fault of buyer why the buyer put his mistake to seller and also want refund, how we overcome the issue, because now every one made this mistake. really need solution of this..... Greenuptown
