Hello I bought an item from the United States and want to return it but now the seller is giving me a return address for China what should I do I don't won't to send the item to China the shipping cost is very high .

Indeed @danyneptun80 for this exact situation eBay has said that regardless REMORSE or SNAD, the seller must pay the return shipping if the return address is significantly different from the item location in the listing.

Simply leave a PRIVATE message here for eBay on Facebook or open an account just to contact eBay, and tell eBay about the return address issue.

Return an item for a refund | eBay

Simply open the return. Select the return reason and follow the directions/dates.

so what if the seller is in China, and sells from the US like many of them do? does that still apply?

If the item location was in the US and the seller wants it returned to China, they will have to pay for return shipping even if it is a buyers remorse return. If they insist on you sending it to them in China and do not provide you money to purchase a return label, contact customer service on Facebook as another poster suggested.

Do not close the case. Do NOT accept another item from this seller. Do what the others told you.

I contacted eBay customer service and wrote that it is against the eBay policy what the seller is doing and eBay decided to refund the full amount and later I received a message from the seller and he wrote I don't have to return the item anymore.
