First EIS return requested... this is AWESOME

Had a notification about a buyer requesting a return. Clicked on it and turns out it was the sale through EIS.

Under the return it says (And in ebay messages) "You do not need to do anything and you are not responsible for the refund"

I am not sure what the reason for the return was. But this is really cool.

I was aware of this feature and curious exactly how this played out. Its handled instantly.

Seems like Ebay could implement this for TRS in US Domestic... would be a nice feature.

Curious though how Ebay does not lose money off of this?

If more sellers join and agree to ship internationally, ebay will be rolling in more dough.    That is their goal.  Perhaps they have some insurance too especially on the pricier items.  I had 5 sales already.

They do but short term getting more people selling stuff offsets any loss.

I imagine after some time the kinks will be worked out and all seller protections will be gone just like all of our domestic sales
