Hi Everyone, does anyone have experiences with this:
I sold a 100% authentic 2004 Dior Jacket to a guy. Everything went well, money is on my bank account. Almost two weeks later he initiated a return/refund process and wrote me that the buttons are fake (which we cleared up aren't). He already has three of these jackets at home and saw that the button/backsides are the same on all of them including the one he bought from me. Now he claims the positioning/ratio of the imprint on the back buttons "does not seem" the same. He sent pics, that is not true either.
To me it looks like he just changed his mind and would like his money back. Maybe he's a scammer, I don't know that. I won't refund, I will wait until Ebay get's in. I can prove the jacket is authentic - from what I've been reading online, Ebay does not care much about what the seller says.
Does anyone have experience with how this goes down if Ebay gets into the process?

This is all you need to know: "Ebay does not care much about what the seller says. " Expect the 'machines' to pull money from you even if no balance and return it to seller. You MIGHT get an item back, but I'd bet dollars to donuts that you'll get back the fake item that the buyer suggested. It's called replacing and I'll guarantee it goes on, has been for years. Usually collectors and resellers themselves. I suspect that some upset end users, mad that they scratched their $100 Oakley's, buy replacements on here and send back theirs.
THIS IS HUGE and why I'm not listing, too much risk, as a seller, no risk as a buyer. I've thought of ways of sealing or adding asset tags, but once I was aware that eBay has simply automated away any seller response, appeal or case, it's pointless.
I left Amazon years ago because they did that. Both simply want HIGH volume resellers who don't care about 1/50 losses, but little guys can't handle it: buyer/scammers know this. I left ebay for another channel and now they are getting defrauded too. The markets are closed, America is too dishonest now. They need to start teaching ethics early.

We closed our ebay store a year ago and through a flood of items reopened it and poof the Scam of EBAY started again,Normal process from EBAY they will protect scam customers long before they protect gold rated sellers. If/when ANY buyer opens an ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED CASE regarding ANY purchase, eBay will require that the seller send a prepaid return label and refund in full when the item is received back.
That's why ALL sellers need get well acquainted with eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers.
Again, for emphasis, if/when an NAD case is opened, the seller's NO RETURNS stance means nothing.
