Resolving a closed return request

I checked out as a guest by mistake and the item came. It is Georgio Armani Aqua Di Gio Absolu. It is a fake. I contacted Ebay customer service over the phone who found my order, created a refund/return request with the seller. The seller promptly closed the request stating that Ebay closed their store.

I am unable to self serve as the purchase isn’t tracked to my account. When I try calling back, I keep getting no agents are available outside of normal business hours.

Any advice on normal business hours from the US? Or what to do in this situation?

Resolving a closed return request

Sellers cannot close return requests without either refunding or supplying a return label.

Since you bought as a guest you can go to the original email and request a return from there OR go to the credit card you used and file a charge back.

Resolving a closed return request

Customer service reps cannot do anything physical...only chit-chat on the phone.

I suggest doing an item not as described...open an eBay claim yourself.

I don't think a customer service rep can create a refund/ return request with the seller.

As far as eBay closed their store...you can still get a refund.

Go into 'guest' as a buyer and look for how to return an item as a guest.
