Refunding for purchase made in march

I purchased bushings for my car on march 26th and last week was informed by my mechanic that one has already broken. I took pictures and sent to the seller and told them I would like a refund or replacement and they are only offering a discount of 6 dollars on the original price. I told them again what I wanted and nothing and I can't figure out how or if I can even get Ebay to step in since it's out of the 30 day **bleep**. So am I just screwed and learning a lesson on buying car parts from ebay or am I overlooking how to get them to step in??

Unfortunately items normally can't be warranted beyond 30 days for many reasons, especially car parts. The breakage also could have been caused from improper installation. Good luck.

You can try going to your payment source, PayPal and most credit cards offer protection for 6 months. Start with PP if you used them.

You do know this could have been caused by installation????

Advice is to purchase locally from an authorized dealer so you might get a warranted item.
