Refund for package not received

Sent package to buyer and accidently put wrong tracking number on ebay. Buyer opened a complaint and said she never received package. I realized I typed wrong tracking number. I corrected it in system and USPS says package was delivered on 12/8. i have asked buyer to reconfirm that she has not received it. She has not.

Today is the last day I have to resolve this issue. I do not want to further disappoint her. Do I go ahead and refund her and just take the loss?

Thanks for responding to my message. Package was accidentally delivered to a neighbors house. The neighbor delivered to my buyer. Waiting to see if buyer wants to return. Thank you.
