I received an item I did not purchase, but can't figure out how to use ebay's help page to return it. There is no record in my purchase history, so I can't start a return. What now?

Thanks for nothing is 100% appropriate for this nothing burger of a problem since the solution is doing nothing.
Seriously what is the issue here?
...what possible solution did you want provided to you about something you didn't order from someone you don't know.
If anything you probably got a tracking scam package.

People are trying to help you and you haven't answered the questions asked yet you're being snarky if you don't like a response.
In posts #2 and #3 , both @wastingtime101 and I asked if the tracking number matches the tracking number shown in any of your orders. Instead of answering that, you said you didn't buy this item and again, I clarified that wastingtime101 was asking about the tracking number shown for ANY of your purchases. (My post #12.)
You didn't respond.
@wastingtime101 also asked about the seller location and if it was in China (post #8), another question that has gone unanswered.
Instead of snapping at someone who is actually offering a legit suggestion of just holding on to the item and doing nothing, you should help those who are trying to help you by answering the questions.
