Received Pirated DVDs eBay Won’t Help

I purchased a Disney DVD collection but was unable to view them for a bit.  When I did go to watch them, I discovered they were pirated.  The quality was bad and some of the movies did not even match the labels on the disks.  I tried to return the item but it was rejected and was immediately closed.  I couldn’t even contact eBay about this issue.  Therefore, I’m closing my eBay account for I will never buy through them again and I tell everyone I can that, regardless of eBays “guarantee,” the cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Hopefully some that you tell will take your venting, and rather that limiting their sources , understand that you failed to follow the eBay MBG. eBay can only go just so far.

If your payment was made through PP you may be able to  open a dispute there.

Final step. If you used a CC you can try that avenue.

Do not forget to report the mess to the proper law enforcement authority's as well. Such selling of pirated items is a criminal offense.
