When a buyer opens a case with eBay and provides information to eBay as to why a full refund should be given after the return of an item, does eBay, in turn, forward a copy of that information to the seller? Or is the information the buyer provides for eBay's eyes only? I understand that eBay can then, in turn, ask the seller specific questions based on what information the buyer provided. I'm just trying to word my "open a case" commentary properly without offending anyone.
Thanks.

When you receive an item not received or return for not as described, all info the buyer put into them is shown to the seller there is nothing hidden or for eBay's eyes only. Those cases are all automated and between the buyer and the seller, the only time eBay is ever involved is when either the buyer or seller request them to step in. You never want eBay to step in because it never works out well for the seller, because they end up siding with the buyer and give the seller a defect for not handling the case themselves.
