Who offered the warranty? Did you pay extra and purchase a warranty? If not, it's a problem. Most items sold here have no warranty. If the seller offered it, it's up to them. You can contact your credit card company and see what their policy is in that case.

You would need to go through the email you received as a guest.

You don't have any recourse thru eBay after 30 days. Probably none thru your credit card after 6 months but you can check.
Try to find the seller thru Google searches and call them.

Thanks for the suggestions. I apparently permanently deleted the email order confirmation and you’re correct that eBay doesn’t keep guest purchase records more than 60 days. I found the seller address and will contact them. Also credit card to see if they can possibly help.

Sellers buy pallets and shelf pulls from sources that are not the direct distributor, and they might acquire fake items, too. For that reason most manufacturers do not honor online purchases unless you purchased from an authorized distributor.
The problem is the seller copies and pastes the specs from the manufacturer describing the item and one of the features is a warranty. And it's not enforceable.
eBay does have a warranty policy and it says if a warranty is offered it will have the written text of the warranty or a link to it. There you find out how to register the warranty and how to obtain service if it breaks down. Was that in the listing? If it wasn't then you're probably SOL. Have you called the manufacturer to see if they will honor the warranty?
