Need help

My friend used my ebay and paypal account to buy a smartphone. He received the item which is not full set as the seller said, he tried to return and already set on the ebay app for returning. The probles is he didn't sent back the item until now, and now I receive notification that the money already sent back to my friend debit card which is he used to pay via my paypal account.

So what should I do, I tried to contact my friend but no respond. We already back to our country in Asia, and we live in different island.

If the refund is going back to their debit card, that's where the funds come from.

Just now I got information from my friend, that he receive back the money.

I want to give back the seller money, I sent messages to the seller but already 2-4 days no respond.

What should I do?

If the seller refunded before the item was returned and the seller won't reply to messages, there isn't much you can do.

If the seller refunded, it done.  The seller may not have wanted to pay the shipping to get it back and just refunded to cut their losses.

Don't worry,

If Seller is not contacting you, it means; Seller is okay with the transaction and doesn't want to deal with this issue anymore. Maybe, item was under warranty/coverage and Seller got a refund already! You'll never know the reason unless Seller contacts you
