Need Corrected Return Label

I bought three chains - one 22", one 26", and one 30". I received three chains - one 22" and two 24". I didn't order a 24".  I contacted the seller and told her about the error and that I needed to return two that were the wrong length.  She issued a mailing label but it was for one chain and the refund amount reflected the cost of one chain. I sent her a message 4 days ago asking her to reissue the mailing label and correct the amount to be refunded. I haven't heard from her.

I don't want to print the label because I think that may appear as though I will accept the refund for one chain. I can't seem to find a way to contact eBay to inform them about this situation because their system is set up so that it appears I need to take action; in other words the ball is in my court and I'm the slacker.

The thing is that this is the second time this seller has done this to me. I got it straightened out the first time, but I don't want to have to go through that long, complicated process again and wait twice the length of time to get my refund. I gave her the benefit of the doubt this time, along with a second chance, believing that the first time was an honest mistake.

I need to be able to contact eBay to inform them why I have not printed the mailing label. Please help!

Need Corrected Return Label

This is how you contact eBay and you should

Open an eBay page

Top left corner, click on 'help & contact'

Click on 'buying'

Bottom of the page, left side, Click on 'returns and refunds'

Click on top of the page 'return an item for a refund '

Go to bottom right of the page, in very small print click on ' have us call you'

eBay will call you in 2-9 minutes

You're right about return amount and it looks; this Seller is not paying attention to details. But you are on limited time now and you need to take an action. So far, process is being moved forward by eBay software and software isn't designed to understand this complication. So, you need to have an eBay rep in the loop

Need Corrected Return Label

If the chains were each on their own orders, you'll need to start a Return on both of the incorrect orders. You'll get a label for the other 24" chain, and will simply mail back two packages. Good luck.

You may have overlooked the quantity you want to return (see below) so it defaulted to a refund for one.

Neither eBay nor your seller can help you change that. But print the label (it doesn't expire) and save it to a PDF file (just in case) to return the 2 chains for a partial refund.

Now file a dispute here (this will automatically close your eBay case) and enter the partial refund amount down further on the page. Go back immediately to click Escalate to PayPal at the bottom of the dispute. Then when you're instructed to return the items, use that return label to get your refund after the delivery.

Otherwise @lovedogsandhorses file a Defective or Not As Described chargeback with your card issuer (see above) to return the 2 chains for a partial refund.
