Hello,
First message on this board 🙂
I have a buyer who requested the item be sent to an Argos pickup with an ecp number. This was received and scanned at Argos on the 26th Jan, but my buyer has opened a INR case on the 11th Feb. This customer stated in the message that Argos received it but sent it back to me (i have not recieved it). I sent a message to the buyer stating that Argos did receive it. They are now threatening me with negative feedback. I've contacted Ebay and they have confirmed it is not my responsibility as they have checked with Argos. However this person might be a bit problematic.
How can I be held responsible for someone not collecting their item in the allotted collection period.

Can you not just reply to the case by entering the tracking information that shows the item was delivered to the address provided when the buyer paid?

Put the tracking that shows delivery into the INR. When you do that the INR case will close ( but not immediately) in your favor.

If the customer is threatening negative feedback and follows through, you can have Ebay remove that negative feedback.
Ebay takes Feedback extortion very very seriously and is one of the few actual sellers protections we have.
