Item does not work.

Can someone help, I posted on another board but my question wasn't really answered.  I bought an item that does not work and I have to return it, however when I print the label it is only 2kg but the product is heavier.  I will have to carry this to the Post Office which is really annoying me as the PO is not near and I did not expect to buy an item that was completely useless and then have to drag it to the Post Office just because the company obviously did not test it before sending out. Anyway, how do I get a label that will cover the cost.  The seller does not reply quickly and I just want to get it sent back. Thanks
