Is there any way to set a return window in listings? I had an item sold that the buyer didn't like and I offer returns. However, Ebay has withheld the return $$$ from my sales and the buyer was given 24 days to return the item. This is not acceptable that I am out the money, out product to resell and the buyer could be wearing the item they purchased. I sent the buyer a message last night that I would appreciate a quick return but no response and no indication it has been mailed back yet. Any ideas how to prevent this in the future? Thanks!

Sending a message to put pressure on the buyer to hurry when eBay already gives them a date to return is bad business.
There is no way to prevent it, and this is what you have to accept if you want to sell on eBay.
(Maybe in the future eBay will decrease the return window that was inflated during the pandemic, but who knows when or if that will ever happen.)

Agreed!
Before the pandemic
Buyers had 15 business days to mail the return label back to the seller.
After the pandemic
eBay still has not gone back down to the way it was before the pandemic!
This is so unfair, eBay!

Whatever you set up doesn't mean anything to ebay or credit card providers.
