I purchased a defective sheet, and requested to return it for a refund. First I contacted the seller -- crickets -- then opened a SNAD return. Seller delayed, first wanted to know reason for return, then said they would refund me without needing me to ship it back. A week after opening my case still with no return label or refund (7/21), I contacted ebay to escalate it. The rep 'put the case on hold', and there it sits. Originally the info I had said to return the sheet by 7/29; do I need to prod ebay again to make sure it doesn't get closed because of inaction?
I've gotten a run of sellers lately with high good marks (99.5%+) but poor customer service and nothing that would warn me off. I'm worried that I may wear out my welcome with the MBG if I use it too often.

Hey @airsheep! In the case that you have for a SNAD issue usually we will give the seller up to 5 days after they request to have the return on hold to work with buyers. During that period they should either give a full refund or a return label to have the item shipped back for a refund. If it has been greater than the 5 days since the case was put on hold you can reach out to customer support here and they will be able to help out the process.

Thank you; it's been on hold since the 21st and still says "We're reviewing the case and will get back to you soon."

If eBay has given you until 7/29 to return the sheet but you don't have a return label, you had better get this resolved right away. I've authorized return labels via eBay that buyers have never received. Perhaps you were already issued a label but don't realize it. If the seller won't issue one, eBay will. Best to find out what is going on before it's too late.

When request has been escalated to a case, eBay is very precise if a hold is placed on the case -- it will end in
1. either 5 days, exactly 120 hours,
2. or 10 days, exactly 240 hours
at the same hour and minute shown on the email when the hold was started.
You need to contact eBay soon, before the this automatically closes without a refund 21 business after it was opened, whether or not it was returned.

Well, it appears something got jarred loose and I was issued a refund, although I believe it was not from the seller.
