Short story - April 2021: Item sold, brought to the local USPS-office and the labeled box been placed at the outgoing mail box.
I was waiting for 2-3-4 days expecting my package to appear on the USPS web-site, in vain.
In 10 days, Buyer opened a case "Item hasn't been sent".
In 2 days I sent refund and closed the case.
In 2 more days the package has appeared on the USPS web-site, right on 14th day after dropping at the USPS local office. in a few days, the items reached Buyer safely.
After getting the refund, Customer bought another item and doesn't need my one. He is not able to start ebay's return procedure as he got the refund already ...
Question: is there any possbility to get my package back via Ebay?
How the people usually do to get the package back in a such situation?
Are there any Fedex/UPS post-paid labels to send Buyer?
Buyer cooperates, but doesn't want to pay for return.
Awaiting your comments.
Thank you.
D.

If the buyer hasn't opened the package he can write Refused-Return to Sender on it an give it to the PO. If he opened it, you can try purchasing a label thru USPS Click & Ship, or another source, and sending it to him via eBay messages. Print it out as a JPG and attach it to the message. (You may have to print it as a PDF, open it and do a screen capture). He then can print it out and attach it to the package. Be sure to address it to yourself.

Well not maybe the best way but one way is this - Do the deal go through paypal? If so, refund the cost of the shipping to the buyer through paypal. Only do this if you are pretty certain he will send it.

Have him drop it off at USPS with Return to Sender. REFUSED. If it appears to USPS it was opened then they charge you for the return. It's quite simple if the buyer will go drop it off
