Hi all I sold this item asking input on situation

I sold this item shipped it .. The buyer received it said it didn’t work. I told him to send it back. He sent back a different model totally different. I contact Ebay. They refunded him his $420. I sent them pictures. The buyer has four feedback with one negative being an item he sold that the other person got, and that was broke told me to do a pill which I did haven’t heard nothing back yet but right now I’m out $420 for a dishonest person when I have been with Ebay for 24 years they cited with him I don’t get it if you see the label on the bottom, it shows clearly the one on eBay has a barcode label. The one he sent back does not it’s a older model and it’s actually a us-16 x 08 The one that was shipped to him was a us-20x20any help thanks So I thought

Unfortunately, you didn't list this item in such a way as to have seller protections (you would need to offer 30-day free returns).  Thieves target high-price items being sold by sellers who are typically inexperienced and don't know how to protect themselves ... we learn by pain here on eBay.

There are times that eBay customer service will intervene, but you would need to communicate with a US-based customer service representative that has some power ... the rumor is that these can be found through the social media sites, like Facebook and Twitter.

I have a 30 day return policy and I did the an Appeal  and they granted the appeal  and I wouldn’t say about inexperience as I’ve been doing this for 24 years   .. and even though they refunded him and refunded me, it’s just wrong. It’s wrong for somebody to get something that they stole this way .. But karma is around he will get his one day people like this. Makes the fees on eBay go up to like thieves in the store

And wow, you just seen you’ve been on here since 99 two that’s when I started doing Ebay Eli has changed over them years. You should remember having to use like Photobucket to upload your pictures and HTM coding now it’s  and now it’s like snap snap snap done  lol

Welcome to the new eBay - word is out that buyers can play this game.  You are at HUGE risk as a seller.  I've been member for over 25 years, selling for 25 and this is it.  I have been commenting how back in those days, prior to paypal, I used to sell on yahoo and successfully sold all over the country, but CHECK and never had an issue (I don't think we even had tracking in those days.  Now with all this tight control, but corruption, 100% of transactions are at risk.  I cannot live with those odds and closed all my existing listing tonight.  Because, I've found newer venues and even have had old school successes on Craigslist and others (where they mail me money (even CASH!) and I ship item and it all works.  No gestapo middleman like ebay manhandling my funds.

ebay is done, sell at your peril...
