We offer free returns for most of our items. I really don't like how eBay gives buyers separate shipping labels for each item that was sent to the buyer in the same package, why do they do this??
I once had a buyer order 4 watches, the buyer opened returns for 3 of them because he said he wanted his daughter to pick which one she wanted in person. If that wasn't bad enough, he then sent the 3 watches back in separate packages at my expense, and if that wasn't bad enough eBay gave the Priority Mail labels for each one even though these items only weighed about 10 ounces each (and the weights were specified in the listing). So I'm on the hook for over $30 in return shipping costs?!?
It feels like it's a slap in the face. I know eBay wants to make things easy, but couldn't they do better on this? Like, ask the buyer during the return process if the items are being shipped back together and, if so, just give them one label, like how it was sent?
I even ask buyers if they could please send the items back in the same package, and they still send them back separately.
