Does anyone know how to reach a human being on EBAY? All their online help stuff is so convoluted. Of all the companies I deal with EABY is the only one without a simple, direct way to contact a person. They're using the pandemic as an excuse to cut costs. Every other company I deal with I can speak to a human being. It's extremely frustrating. Does anyone have any ideas?

go to the bottom of any page and "contact us" - request a call back.
Good luck. CS has been known to give incorrect advice.
You may want to ask here and see if anyone can answer you.

For general questions you can try asking on the discussion boards. Experienced users can offer suggestions.
Or you can use the Help & Contact link at the bottom of the page to request a call back from eBay. Use the "Contact us" link and follow the prompts for your issue and you should eventually wind up on a page with a chat option. Choose that, and the last option that appears in the chat window -- use the "See more" option -- should be "Contact an Agent" to request a call-back if you are in North America.

Unless it's an account problem, you could probably get some good help here.

Click on 'buying'
Bottom of the page, left side, Click on 'returns and refunds'
Click on top of the page 'return an item for a refund '
Go to bottom right of the page, in very small print click on ' have us call you'
