Contacting EBAY via telephone. Impossible to resolve issue on line

Initiated return request, seller approved, I process the request/. 2  on line,  then seller declined and closed the request 2 days later I checked status  and it was closed by the seller and indicated  cannot appeal. Contacted ebay twice  with no firm results. I have tried numerous ways to contact ebay on-line.  Just takes me back to the original notes with nothing done or given me any communications. Its a shame as a seller to do everything I was supposed to do and have to go thru this.

Returns opened past the 30 Day eBay Money Back Guarantee can be declined by the seller.

Returns opened with a remorse type reason for the return can be declined by the seller if the listing states, returns not accepted. 

 

Please provide more details on your return attempt.

If you care to, post the eBay item number that is in eBay  listing that you purchased from.

Sounds like you were trying to do a return after 30 days...Seller said OK by email...so you opened a claim hoping seller would refund you. Just guessing here. Seller probably did not decide to refund you through open claim and it got closed. I don't think anything else can be done. Just a thought what might have happened. Anyone can open a claim after 30 days...its up to the seller if he wants to refund the buyer.

My 2nd conversation with ebay was they were going to overturn the decision.  That was 3 day ago.  What about Money Back Guarantee?  The item was faulty/Damaged did not match listing descriptio

I initiated a request from the seller next day after receiving product.  They approved my request verbally  within the next day. I processed the ebay request form to the seller the next day.  Did not receive any form of communications for several days. Went back online to discover the seller had denied the request and it said cannot appeal case, item closed. This all took place within a 6 day period.  Never a peep from ebay.  EBAY did not do any intervention.  How can this be closed and never hear from EBAY?  And what about Money Back  Guarantee?  I did everything I was supposed to do.

There is not a legit ebay telephone number to call.

What was the exact reason you chose for the return?

 

The ebay Money Back Guarantee is solid if used properly.

This item was for a 7 3/8 size  Stetson Hat that was listed as new without tags.

The item received was used and size 7 1/4  and was very dirty because poor packaging stuffed in used too small box. The size tag was removed from hat. I gave the seller all this information

What was the exact reason you chose for the return?

If you selected Doesn't Fit, that is considered a remorse reason for a return and the seller can deny the return.

 

Buyers only get one shot at selecting a return reason.

 

If you want to present your case to EBay.  I would reccomend the social media avenue.
