As the buyer I have returned an item. Seller has accepted it. I waited the prescribed time then I returned before i realized that eBay would send a label. Seller has accepted the item. Now I'm stuck in the system and cannot find a way to get help to let eBay know the seller has the item. I fear the required timeframe will expire before I can get my refund. Please help.

Before you returned the item, did you open a return request? Or was your request to return just back and forth ebay messages to the seller?
Is there tracking showing that the item was delivered to the seller?
EDIT: If it's the item you purchased from the seller who left feedback, that seller has free returns and would have sent a return label upon receipt of an official return request.
But if you just returned it on your own, a seller who does the volume of that seller may not even realize who sent the item back. If you returned it without a request (something you shouldn't have done), you may try sending a message through the order to let the seller know that the return was from you and that you erred in returning in the manner you did. Verify that they received it and let them know you're waiting for the refund.

I opened a return request. Then communicated with the seller about the return. He wrote back and said "OK return ". I waited the amount of time required by eBay. I then took the address off the box received from him. Wrapped the item properly. Dropped off at USPS. I got a tracking number which shows he received the item. I then discovered that eBay asked me to print a label. I didn't print it since I already had sent it. The eBay label would have given me a different tracking number. I can't find a place on the eBay site to enter the track number since I sent it on my own label. what should I do?
