Buyer purchases wrong item and opens return

I recently had a return request opened for item 315148718101  .The buyer said I sent them the wrong item and then they sent a photo of it next to the part it should be, and immediately left a negative feedback review.   Unfortunately they didn't look at the part number or picture in my listing.  I'm selling the rear ash tray for this vehicle (part number is listing would have verified this for them), not the front one that they want.  I've learned where to pick my battles on Ebay selling for 25 years and would have happily given a refund and let them keep it even though they simply purchased the wrong item.  They are not being responsive to my request to remove the negative and I'll issue a full refund, and they can even keep it.  Probably nothing I can do here right ?

You could try apologizing for not making it clearer that you were selling the REAR ashtray.  That may be sufficient to get the feedback revised.  

Nobody likes to be told they are wrong … and you keep emphasizing that point … apparently without telling the buyer you’re willing to refund.  Talk about revisions usually are more fruitful AFTER you’ve made the buyer happy.
