Buyer Damaged the Glass on a McIntosh Tuner. Claimed it was damaged when he recieved it. All pictures clearly show his fingerprints at the cracked glass location. I am being forced to give this person his money back and pay the return shipping. I am stuck with a damaged unit. Sellers beware...

@audiophile1960 @Thanks for the heads up though most of the boardies here know how eBay returns work. Same as on the other sites with a payment processor involved.
There is a chance you can get stuck with a false INAD return. And as a buyer, a seller can try to stick it to ya as well.

Are you sure he just did not touch it while looking the crack over? A heavy item with a glass panel could have been damaged if the box were dropped. If it landed on a flat side it won't show damage on the box.

I spent SO much time setting up my listings and I have probably 3x as much more to list. Including collectors items and antiques. But my last experience with a lying buyer who broke something has me paralyzed. I'm looking for other places to sell but as of yet I can't find anywhere that works 😕
I'm too small of a seller to afford to write off abusive buyers, and it looks like Ebay is not standing by their small sellers right now, or possibly any more. I honestly don't know what to do at this point.
