eBay recently auto opted my selling account into the new shipping label layout. No problem, I assumed it would happen at some point. The only issue I have is that once I print my label, eBay does not have a way for me to get back to my awaiting shipment page? Am I missing this somewhere?
There is no link, no header to click on my eBay. So I have to use the back button and right click and choose the option that way.
This method seems out of date for the eBay marketplace. Will you pass along the need for a link back to the awaiting shipment page.
eBay did include a print next shipping label link but we have to go back to the awaiting shipment page to see what the next item is before we can print the label.
We need these eBay teams that design these updates to think like a seller if possible when they create these new features. Sadly that seems to be missing when you release new features.
Good Luck Selling!
Hi @goodluckselling, I'm happy to pass along your feedback! The new shipping label layout is still being developed to add the features that the old layout contains. Because of this, we intentionally left the option to use the old layout to ensure sellers have any options or features that may not currently be present in the new layout. You'll find the link to change to the old layout in the upper right of the shipping label page. Thanks for your feedback!

Is it correct if you list on mobile or app you don't have to enter mobile code?

What are the chances of implementing these changes to the discussion boards?
- Prevent thread titles when every word is ALL CAPS
- Limit of 3 exclamation points or question marks per thread title

Would it not make more sense and be more prudent to roll out the new label layout when it is ready for "prime time" with all the features working?

Hi @a_c_green, we aren't able to discuss the details of another member's account so cannot go into specifics here.
Right, thanks; that's understood. Have you received the ID in question from anyone else already?
@Anonymous wrote:
I can say that there are a variety of factors that may not be publicly visible that would warrant the removal of feedback within our policies.
That's understood, too... but not 23 different Negatives yanked all at once, plus 3-6 more over the past few days that disappeared just this morning. In the thread I referenced above, we were at one point seeing Negs and Neutrals getting plinked off like targets at a shooting gallery. That's definitely not the kind of treatment us regular folks get when trying to explain a feedback issue to Customer Service.
Again, we aren't able to discuss another member's account or why a feedback was removed for them but we will have this reviewed to ensure correct action was taken
That's all we can ask, as it appears that that seller is receiving some unearned but incredibly preferential treatment. We'll continue to follow the feedback and see how it goes in the coming days. Thanks!

Can you please clear up the announcement about returns
There seems to be much confusion on the boards as some sellers are having their not as described returns auto accepted & others are not.
Can you explain if this is a slow rollout?
From Sep. 6th
https://community.ebay.com/t5/Announcements/Auto-Accept-and-Auto-Refund-Features-in-Returns-Process-...
eBay will now begin auto-accepting returns and issuing return labels in instances when the seller already accepts returns and the seller pays return shipping.
The graph in the link below shows both buyer paid & seller paid labels are immediate labels.
https://pages.ebay.com/seller-center/seller-updates/2018-summer/simplified-returns.html#enhanced-ret...
How does ebay expect a seller to work out issues with their customers if you insist on just sending labels?
Example 6 plates shipped 1 broken you issue a label?
Buyer wants to keep the other 5 hard to find plates how does this work?
It really is becoming very difficult the way ebay is setting this up
The pages should also address that an ebay return label doesn't offer insurance coverage so at least add to the pages that sellers can require an RMA which will allow them time to touch base with a buyer & issue their own labels if they so decide.
Hi @labs118, love your example - I've seen this situation before and think these are great suggestions. I can confirm that the insurance factor is something we have taken into consideration and a label won't be automatically provided when insurance was on the label purchased through eBay for the initial shipment. In the event that eBay does automate a return for an item where you wish to pursue an insurance claim, we would be able to offer protections for potential loss. Additionally, if you have returns set up to offer replacements or exchanges, the buyer can select this option when opening the return request and the return would not be automatically accepted.
In most situations automatic acceptance saves both the buyer and seller time, streamlining the experience for all parties involved. In instances where this process voided any protections for either party, eBay would be able to step in and ensure that steps are taken to resolve this. We appreciate the feedback and are happy to monitor and adjust as needed!

Hi Tyler. Still having this problem which was brought up on Oct 3.

Hi Trinton. I conduct all Ebay business on my Android phone. When using Seller Hub on my phone, the Overview Manage My Store link takes me to My Ebay unless I am in Desktop Mode. While in Desktop Mode the link takes me directly to Manage My Store. Glitch or intentional? Thank you.
Hi @lecroy3, it doesn't seem like that is intentional. I'll go ahead and get this reported. Thanks!
Also I can no longer move around my images on the mobile app when listing or revising. Is this a permanent change? Thank you
Hi @lecroy3, the change to image uploads is working as intended. The order images are selected during the upload process is the order they will be displayed in within the listing.
Also, I don't have an update about the mobile browser issue yet, but the feedback has been passed along to the team for review. Thanks!

When a buyer files a SNAD/INAD saying that the seller had shipped the wrong item, when in fact they didn't as is evidenced by the purchase record. Why is that claim allowed to stand? Why can't a seller get that SNAD/INAD closed and removed from their SNAD count records.
More specifically I have a buyer order a 3.4 Oz bottle of ABC cologne. I ship the 3.4 oz bottle. The buyer acknowledges they have recieved the 3.4 Oz bottle, but insists they ordered a larger size. The purchase record as well as the payment records shows the buyer purchased and paid for the 3.4 oz bottle. With such clear proof that the buyer made the error, why won't Ebay help the seller with such claim?
Hi @mam98031 - happy to elaborate on this; if a buyer requests to return the item, and you offer returns, we'd expect you to honor that request regardless of whether or not you agree with the reason. If one of your customers states the item does not match the listing description, even if their comment would indicate that they simply misread the listing, we would err on the side of caution and authorize the return. In the past, we were able to override the return reason but found that this often times led to inaccuracies. Since the buyer is in possession of the item, we will refer to the reason they selected for the return when making a decision. If there indications that the buyer is attempting to abuse our returns program, this can be reviewed in specific detail with Customer Service.
Service Metrics look at the rate of opened Not As Described returns, even those that may be questionable. If we have reason to believe a buyer has a history of filling questionable returns those requests are automatically excluded from your Service Metrics calculation. If we don't see a history of abuse, we don't have reason to make any adjustments and all returns would be counted. As all sellers will receive some returns like this the peer metric benchmark will reflect that average and ensure you are not unfairly impacted.
Depending on the specifics of the situation and your concern, however, it may be worth contacting CS to review the details. Thanks!

A lot of sellers don't purchase their labels through eBay because dedicated shipping platforms are necessary for multi-channel fulfillment of orders and other platforms sometimes offer more competitive rates.

I wish that was the case Brian. The images often scramble during installation thus the need to move them.

USPS rates are going up again in January and this time it looks like Regional Rate boxes can no longer be fudged through eBay's calculator by using a set weight (like 2lb for reg rate A).
Will the shipping calculator be updated to add Regional Rate A & B boxes? Will this happen by the time rates change in January?

Hi @becksrelics, you only need to input the code you are referring to if you are listing with HTML code in your listing. If you are using HTML, you can use the Mobile Friendly Checker within the listing form to confirm your listing will format correctly within the app. If you are not using HTML, you would not need to use the Mobile Friendly Checker.

Thanks Trinton but still would like a few more answers please.
Still the confusion on if this is rolled out to all sellers.
Some posts indicate sellers returns are being accepted, other posts indicate that they are not & are given time to still respond to buyers return requests.
How is this possible?
Also on the insurance you are saying if I purchase insurance for the initial shipment, What about the $100.00 insurance coverage or $50.00 coverage for Priority that wasn't purchased just included ?

I do understand that. But for sellers with No Returns, or a 30 or 60 day return policy w/ buyer pays shipping, if it is filed properly it would be a Buyer's Remorse Request NOT a SNAD.
I should have mentioned that this situation came about from a Variation Listing. Ebay's purchase record on this purchase showes that it was the buyer that actually purchased / selected the 3.4 ounce. The buyer acknowledges that they received the 3.4 oz but then files a SNAD for not as described because they wanted a larger size.
As a seller, I would still process this to be in the best interest of my customer. BUT we should have a way to get something that is a clear as this type of situation, supported by Ebay's own records, from a SNAD To a BR. It is completely unfair to sellers not to allow this.
I get it that many cases are not crystal clear. But a situation like this could not be more clear. So why won't Ebay help the sellers?
