I got a message saying the store would renew on March 1st,

so I assumed it would renew on April 1st, as well. ?.

If that is what they tell, I would go with that.

Stores run from the 1st and anything other than that would be billed for a partial month on your next billing cycle with the full price of a full month.

-----

So, if I didn't cancel before April 7th, I would get a partial month's charge in May.
That would be much better...and it actually makes sense.

Sorry to chime in here, but if you don't want to continue the store, I would cancel on 3/31.  Stores run from the 1st to the 1st, and are billed in advance. I would not assume 2 free months = 60 free days.  There are no partial credits for cancelling before the end of a month.

If you have a monthly subscription and you cancel your Store after the Mandatory Subscription Period:

  • You’re billed the current Stores subscription fees for the entire calendar month during which you cancel.

Firefox is supposed to be supported by eBay as per: https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/technical-issues/technical-issues?id=4220

It seems like the site keeps getting more and more buggy on Firefox browsers though. Regardless of what computer I am on, cookies, or updates I am noticing more and more issues. Is there any explanation to what is going on here? Primary issues I am seeing are pages not loading correctly and layouts of listings not looking the same on other browsers.

Hi @gwzcomps, what version of Firefox are you using? Have you tried clearing your cache & cookies? I use Firefox all day and have not had any issues, so want to see what might be going on. As much detail as you can provide would be best for us to investigate this further, along with screenshots if you have them.

72.0.2 (64-Bit) on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with a 300/300Mb internet connection.  Cookies make no difference.  The same issues occur on several different computers.  When replying to messages the reply section sometimes won't load even with several refreshes.  I would include a screenshot, but no way to protect user info without blacking out the whole thing.  Some of my listing descriptions that I setup in Firefox show up with the text in the wrong order on Chrome.  The description layout has been an issue for a while now, but CS usually tells me eBay only supports Chrome.  Also when I am looking at other user's items for sale the ### results counts don't show up sometimes.

That is the same link I provided in an earlier posting here.  I know there is a note on the link that store selling fees are different and gives a link.  I just honestly never thought scheduling fees would be something that store owners would pay for while non store owners don't.  Right or wrong, I just thought the other page better described the reduced fees that store owners pay for the store level they have.  Other than the store fee itself I just never thought there was a fee we would pay that non store owners did not.  My bad.  It just never occurred to me.

Simple question and simple answer requested.

What is going to happen to the coin, currency, and bullion sellers when all sellers are forced into managed payments, when they can't use managed payments for payment?

Hi @papermoneyforme - If you're enrolled or invited to participate in managed payments you're welcome to contact that team directly for any information . The Community Team is unable to provide additional information outside of the resources available already.

That is not an answer. Finding out you are shafted after the fact is not acceptable.

We need to know before.

Secrets are not acceptable when it is people's listings and lively hood are involved

Maybe someone should wake the Managed Payments team up

Hi @papermoneyforme - that's the simple answer I have to provide you, namely that I'm not able to discuss managed payments questions outside of what's available.

tyler@ebay

Tyler, not blaming you.

So Ebay and the Secret Society expect sellers to just roll, over and do as they are told without knowing anything about what they are getting into?

If we have a store, can we get out of paying a early termination fee if the Secret Society forces us into Managed Payments?

Does Ebay  and the Secret Society not care about losing sellers because of this type of poor service?

From past policy I had country shipping exclusions.

I edit the listing to remove the exclusions.

It shows that they are removed. I update the listing. Close the browser. Open the listing, and the exclusions are back.

I have attempted too do it in bulk, and individually.

Why do they continue to show?

Is this a problem? I do not ship internationally.

Hi @gwzcomps, thanks for the all the added detail! I will get this reported on for review. I can confirm that we do support Firefox, though if you are running into trouble with one browser a common workaround is to utilize another browser. I'll let you know if we need anything else.

Thank you, tyler@ebay, for the link.
Just off from it, I found what I needed:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/selling-fees/store-fees?id=4122

I was shocked to learn that, while Final Value Fees are slightly less for most categories, they are actually MORE for Books and Media, the two things I sell most often.
I will be careful not to list those things while I have a store.

Hi @papermoneyforme - I'm not sure if these are questions or non sequiturs, but if you are invited to managed payments you should consider contacting them for additional clarification.

Hi @vrykalak - glad that page helped!

When I look at regular fees for Books and Media for folks without stores (link here) it looks like the cost is the same as with a store (12%).

Hi @buyselljack2016, I'd need the specific item number to look into this. The most likely cause is that you have shipping exclusions set up at the account level and the option to have it apply to all future listings has been turned on. It doesn't look like you have Business Policies enabled for this listing but those could be a cause of this if the rules continue to try and apply when publishing the listing. The quickest solution for that scenario would be to create a new listing from scratch, but we can review in closer detail if you would like to share an item number with us.
