I received the invite and registered for the Guaranteed Delivery Program last week.  This week, I've listed several Buy It Now items.  How will buyers be able to know that these listings are part of the Guaranteed Delivery Program?  I am unable to see anywhere on the listing any mention of this.  Thanks.

Hi @jaaron7

The buyer facing eBay Guaranteed Delivery experience goes live in late September

At that time buyers will see the guaranteed delivery date on eligible items on the search results page. Buyers will also have a filter they can use which will show only items that are part of the eBay Guaranteed Delivery program.

Thanks.

I sell tote bags and handbags.  I always give measurements but I can't predict what buyer's "think" when they purchase and often gets returns because it is "too small" or "too big"  Which of course, I have no control over when I give the measurements.

I found the following link/photo on the ebay site.  I was wondering if it is ok to use it in my listings?  Will my listing be in some kind of trademark violation if I use it?

http://pages.ebay.com/sell/handbagguide.html

And how can I use it to be compliant with ebay's link policy... active content policy etc?

I'd like to use it as a photo and a link.  Is it possible?

(of course, I would still be hoping the buyer would read and understand)imgHandbagSizes.gif

You are welcome to use this resource within your listings if you would like! It is a resource we happily provide to our community. Links directing to other eBay pages are permitted, so you would be welcome to simply include the photo and the link within your description if you would like. Active content would not be a concern as this is within the eBay site and would be included as either a link or simple HTML that hyperlinks to the guide page.

What is an 'Ebay Collective dealer'?

Is this sponsered by ebay?

Hi @d-k_treasures - similar to the 'curated collections' from several years ago, eBay Collective is a network of high end furniture, fine arts and antiques dealers that offer their items for people looking for unique styles and items.

Seriously? So right-off-the-boat repops are considered antiques and this 'network of "high-end"' dealers along with the 'ebay collective' banner are wonderful 'curated' sellers?

Who does the curating? China or India?

Hi @loveyourimagination49 - great question! We haven't heard anything specific, but keep an eye on the announcements boards. 🙂

The Seller Hub discussion group is overflowing with repeated threads about how do I get out of seller hub.  Could we please have one pinned thread for all the complaints and the rest be locked as soon as possible?

Hi @dtexley3

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Typically, we do not bulk lock threads, but we will look into that after the chat.

Some of those complaints or concerns come from people that just do not like change of any kind.  I mean no disrespect to those that feel this way, but things on the internet inheritedly change as time moves on.  If we stand still everyone will pass us by.

Some of those complaining have not or will not spend the time with it to actually understand what it offers.  There misunderstandings and/or lack of experience with it drives their opinions.

That is not to say that there are issues, because there may be.  My biggest complaint is that visually it is boring, lacks creativity in format and some fonts are just too darn small.  For some, because of this it just doesn't instill confidence in them that it is better than the old format.  The old format presented much better and was/is easier to read without going to sleep.  LOL

Again, I don't want to dismiss anyone's concerns over the program as they may be real.  But just keep in mind that much comes from those that just refuse to even try to get intimate with the program.

The Unsold page on the classic myEbay site changed (yesterday, I think) . There are (at least) two problems: 1. You can't relist multiple items - you must relist one item at a time. 2. You can no longer sort by price. (If I had a lot to relist and check, I often sort by price and relist the highest value items first.) What has been added to the page is listing advice (fixed price vs auction, etc.) - if I followed that advice, I'd be selling a lot less. I feel sorry for new sellers who do follow it.

It looks like you have a store which comes with a Selling Manager subscription. If you go to your Selling Manager page, you will be able to relist in bulk by selecting the items you wish to relist. You can also sort by item price from this page. Additionally, you can use the "Tell us what you think" link in the upper right corner of the page to give us feedback on any changes you have seen recently so we can review for future enhancements.

I did relist from the Sellling Manager unsold page. I've always preferred the old page because I'm more confident that I'm not double relisting an item when using the old one . Yesterday there was a "tell us what you think " link. I was going to use it today, but it's not there.

Many of the pages that the seller hub links to have no link to go back to Seller hub.  You have to either use the back button (not always advisable) or click on the eBay logo and then menu your way back to where you were.  All the sub pages should have a link to go back to at least the parent page if not to the seller hub overview.

The link to get back to Seller Hub would be under My eBay > Selling. This should redirect you right back to the Seller Hub landing page. If you have an example where you are running into issues, don't hesitate to share the details!

I purchased a very large bulky item on Friday the 11th.  I paid immediately.

The seller had one day handling TRSplus on the listing.

The seller entered shipping information tracking on Monday the  14th.  I then got an email from the seller on Tuesday saying that the item had not shipped yet and he was checking something.  He then emailed me today (Wednesday) telling me that it was now OK to ship.

In my book, that does not equate to one day handling and the issue I have is that I need to be home to accept this bulky/large item and it is now going to be delivered a few days after the estimated delivery time.

What are my options as a buyer?

And let me say, the purchase is not on this account AND this happens quite frequently.  Normally not a big deal because the packages are small, but this one is going to be an issue because of the size.

Sellers are still uploading/adding tracking and then holding off on shipping.

Not shocked there isn't a 'tell us what you think' link - otherwise your cup would runneth over.

You are welcome to use the Tell us what you think link on the Selling Manager page to give feedback about this change. This will get to the appropriate team for consideration.

I'm not trying to show disrespect for those that don't like change or don't like the SH, it's just the proliferation of threads on the same subject that's taking over the Seller Hub group.

I'm lukewarm to the Seller Hub overall myself, but since it's going to be the future I've taken the time to learn it and use it.  It needs a lot of work before it will be a full replacement.  Asking over and over and over and over, etc to opt out in multiple threads just isn't a solution.

Most of the pages don't have ANY of the menus just an eBay logo.  Have someone start following each of the links and document which pages are missing the menus.   I'm not getting paid to do UAT/UI/Code Review etc for eBay, I do enough of that for my own job.  Smiley Indifferent

So that gives them (even a new 28 FB seller) carte blanche to include their phone # in the listings, allow for wire transfers and checks, and select freight for shipping a small item - most likely so that its a separate PP invoice for shipping?

And also list repops in the antiques category? Is this sending a wonderful message to a new buyer on here? (the question is rhetorical, since no, the message is don't bother looking here).

Hi @d-k_treasures,

I can confirm that Tyler shared the correct information last week and that Heidi would not have shared it if it were incorrect.
