I will try this again. first time was rejected. My buyers price is not reflecting the amount that is really being taken from the buyer. The price paid is not the price taken because of taxation. I only found this out by going to my paypal. why is this being done? If that much is paid then that much should show up on the amount paid as to take it out in final value fee. I hope this does not hurt sales for future use.

Ebay does not charge the FVF for taxes collected so that's probably why they don't show it. Always best to use Paypal and their reports for everything important as they are the ones that will issue you a 1099 (if you qualify- or at least a decent monthly statement that shows gross in etc. for tax purposes), then cross checked with your own books.

Ebay does not charge a FVF on the sales tax collected, just item and shipping, but Pay Pal does include it in their fee.
