unable to remove item from my watch list

I have an item on my watch list that has gone out of stock. I have tried removing it by checking the box and then clicking delete, message that "unable to complete request at this time, try again later", tried to remove it through the all lists, seemed to work until I returned to watch list and it is still there, what do I try next?

[edit -- I noticed that you said you already tried the "All Lists" link and still saw the item on your Watch List. Is it possible that you are looking at a cached version of your Watch List? Does the item appear if you look at your Summary page instead?]

For troublesome items that cannot be deleted by the standard methods, here is something else to try: use the following link to the old "All Lists" page, find the item on that list, and then use the "delete from list" link that can be found under "More actions" on the right side of the item row. For some reason that seems to work when other methods fail.

I used another link provided by another user, item was deleted at the time, I then went to my watch list and the item reappeared. The other puzzling thing is when I went to the item listing to use the remove tab there, it wasn't shown on any of my lists to remove.
