trying to get a customer service agent

I was informed in an email that ebay  terminated the sale and ebay buyer acct that purchased an item from me.  I refunded the money and had shipped the item 2 weeks prior to this notification.  I would like to speak with an agent and cannot get connected to live agent.  Because the sale and buyer has been removed, it does not  recognize that a problem exists because there is no longer a transaction history.  How do I reach a live customer service agent?

To contact eBay, use the chat assistant to request a chat with an agent or a call back by starting on the Help & Contact page and following the links for your issue.

 

What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment.

 

Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a call back option.

If you refunded the buyer after you shipped the item, not much you can do.

You made a mistake refunding a buyer that is no longer registered on eBay.

Item got mailed so it's gone. eBay emailed stated not to mail out item if you didn't yet. But these eBay emails come too late because sellers have already usually mailed items out. eBay doesn't ask you to refund and eBay doesn't take the purchase price back from you.

I have had a few of these and eBay doesn't take the funds away from a seller.

The buyer is no longer on eBay as a registered eBayer.

Customer service can't really do anything...

I refunded when the buyer was still a registered user.  Ebay sent an email 2 weeks later and said they removed that buyer and do not send items or refund.  I had already sent item a month before and refunded purchase 14 days later.  2 weeks after that I was told that ebay had removed the buyer.  It was all processed already.
